Khairiyat pucho, kabhi to kaifiyat pucho, Tumhare bin deewano (your fans) ka kya haal hai…
It’s been one of my favourite song from the time it got released. I adored you Sushant. You were my favourite. Why did you do this? Why?
That infectious smile of yours still haunts me to the core that I’m unable to accept this bitter truth that you are no more.
Guys, honestly, I don’t know how to start this. I am in a state of shock. Never ever in my dreams I’d thought I would be writing this for Sushant Singh Rajput. He was not just an actor, he was an emotion.
Who comes to your mind when you think of an intelligent good looking actor in Bollywood? The answer is as clear as crystal.
A true engineer by heart, a phenomenal actor and an outstanding astrophile: you’ll be truly missed.
As a fan, there are many unanswered questions that are being popped up inside my head. Even if you ignore it away, they still come back. Why a successful, good looking, intelligent person like him would commit suicide? Why was he fighting depression? Was he so weak that he took this step? Was the industry against him? and many more…
Even if you come by these answers, Will he return back? The answer is NO. He won’t.
So, instead of debating on his mental health, suicide, spreading hatred and making allegations on the industry, let’s take a moment first and celebrate his life, celebrate his work, celebrate his brilliance as he had put his heart and soul into each and every craft he pursued and every movie he did.
You could make a whole new movie from his real-life story.
Happy times come and go, but the memories stay forever. Let’s remember some of his happy moments that I want every fan of his to pause in their heart forever.
- A TRUE ENGINEER
A single digit rank holder in AIEEE and a physics Olympiad winner! Do I need to say more? Being an engineer myself, I had a soft corner for him. Unlike his peers in Bollywood, his love of Science was an oddity making him unique among others. He loved computer gaming and always wanted to learn the coding behind it, so that one day he could develop his own games. Despite being an actor, he stood to his engineering roots. In the last few weeks, as mentioned on his instagram feed, he was trying to learn coding from “Khan Academy”.
- STAR GAZER
A star who loved the stars. Sushant Singh Rajput was obsessed with space. His universe stretched far beyond Bollywood’s orbit of acting and dancing. As an amateur astronomer, he loved all things space. He used to frequently post a slew of cosmic observations and images on his social media accounts. Also, his 50 dream bucket list included attending NASA workshop and exploring the Andromeda galaxy through a powerful telescope.
- MS DHONI OF BOLLYWOOD
Who can forget this movie that became an overnight sensation and Sushant became the heartthrob of millions? He was such a perfectionist that he used to ask multiple questions to Dhoni and used to reframe it again until and unless he is fully convinced.
“Tum sawaal hi puchte rehte ho”- This is how MS Dhoni reacted to Sushant’s inquisitiveness.
He used to train just like a cricketer. He did complete justice to the role as he practiced regularly for nine months and mastered Dhoni’s helicopter shot in an amazing manner.
- TRULY A “MUMMA’S” BOY
He was so closed to his mother that he had penned down a few poems in her memory. His last instagram feed was a black and white photo of his mother along with a post dedicated to her.
- “ANNI” IN CHICCHHORE
This movie had a huge impact on me. This was the last theatrical release of Sushant Singh Rajput.
“Hum haar jeet, success failure mein itna ulajh gaye hai …ki zindagi jeena bhul gaye hai….zindagi mein agar kuch sabse zyada important hai…toh who hai khud zindagi”
It is unbelievable to even think that a person who gave a ray of hope to his fans by giving a message that suicide is never a solution, succumbed to it. It is so ironical. I so wished he had picked up his phone and would have called anyone, just anyone.
As a fan, I’m completely broken and shattered while writing all these. I wish it to be a bad dream but unfortunately, it’s not. I can’t bring myself to think of the reasons he decided to end his life.
This loss is too personal for everyone. Sometimes, it’s important to be heard. Please talk to your friends and ask them if they need any help. Listen to them when they tell you about their problems. The more you count your blessings, the more blessings there will be to count.
Return if possible Sushant and fight all the odds and win gracefully. I will never forget your charming face and that infectious smile. Hope you are in a better place now. Hope you have found your PEACE.
You’ll be missed Forever…
